Terribly Contest Entry

so, this is my entry for 's contest you were required to draw out what you feel when you listen to a song of your choice. i chose Black Dog by Led Zeppelin LONG LIVE.

personally, i realy dont like how this turned out.

this is my first time using SAI and im quite satified by how well i coped with it but the overall drawing is below my standards.
i dont want to say that i just whipped this up for a contest, because i didnt. every. single. day. for a week. i came home and IMMEDIATLY worked on this for 3 or so hours untill 6 pm. im realy slow at artwork. crossing the fingers for faster drawing.

so i did work realy hard on this, but there is always a dead line and im happy im done before that, but after all of the work im not so thrilled.

back to SAI, ive been using the demo ever since i started drawing this, and my dad says that if i like the programm, then hell buy it for me. its only $60 but hes cool like that.

FIRST TIME WITHOUT LINEART. accept the hairBUT STILL FIRST TIME. that turned out pretty well acctually, trying to pick up some style.
